In the enchanted forest in Faerie, Giants and Oak Men strode forward from the trees intent on capturing Cassie, Kit Marlowe, Mac and Tomas at the command of Captain of the Night Guard. One ten-foot tall giant hit Marlowe in the head with a club the size of a small tree.[4] The King of the Dark Fey is a giant taller that thirty feet. [5]
